digunakan untuk mengukur zat terlarut dalam air dalam satuan ukur PPM dan EC cocok untuk:
-Mengkukur Larutan nutrisi hidroponik
-Mengukur air aquarium
-Mengukur kualitas air PDAM, Sumur, air minum, isi ulang, air galon dll
Cara Penggunaan cukup mudah :
1.Buka tutupnya
2.Pencet tombol on/off, kemudian masukan bagian kepala tds ke cairan yang akan di uji
3.Ketika angka sudah stabil (tidak berubah-ubah), klik tombol “Hold” dan angka nya adalah hasil akhir
4.Setelah penggunaan, bilas bagian kepala TDS dengan air bersih

1. Lock Function: mempermudah dalam pembacaan dan pencatatan.
2. Fasilitas auto shut off dalam waktu 5 menit, sehingga baterai tidak cepat habis
3. Range Pengukuran :

Suhu : Degrees Celsius : 0.1 — 80.0 c

~Mengubah antara TDS & Conductivity (EC) :
Standar pengukuran dari pabrik adalah TDS (ppm), untuk mengubah pembacaan pengukuran ke conductivity, pencet tombol SHIFT, maka pembacaan akan berubah ke conductivity
~Mengubah pembacaan suhu :
pencet tombol SHIFT berkelanjutan untuk mengubah antara Celcius ke Fahrenheit, begitu juga sebaliknya
Tentang Klasifikasi Air:
-Air organik = 0 ppm
-Air Murni = 0-10 ppm
-Air Minum = 10-100 ppm
-bukan air minum = >100 ppm (Tidak layak untuk di konsumsi–>PERLU diolah/ diturunkan nilai tds-nya)
Contoh; Air hujan tds = 9 – 10 ppm

TDS meter adalah suatu alat teknologi yang digunakan untuk mengetahui jumlah zat terlarut (baik itu zat organic maupun anorganic, misal : garam, dll) yang terdapat pada sebuah larutan (dalam hal ini meggunakan metode Electrical Conductivity).
EC dipengaruhi suhu, hubungan antara TDS/PPM dengan EC
1 S/cm = 1 x 10-6 S/cm
1 S/cm = 1 Mho/cm
1 S/cm = 0.5 ppm, 1 ppm = 2 S/cm
